Is a private car sale 'sold as seen'?
Largely, yes. But the car must match any description given and the seller must not misrepresent it.
What if the car has finance on it?
The seller declares it in the agreement and must settle it before or at handover, giving the buyer written confirmation from the lender.
Who tells the DVLA?
The seller. The agreement records that the seller will notify the DVLA promptly after handover.
Is it in a bundle?
No. It is sold separately.
