We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at docpilot.to/terms.html. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
When you purchase a DocPilot document template, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that document for your own personal, business, or professional purposes.

DocPilot document templates are provided for informational and general self-help purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, and no solicitor-client relationship is created by purchasing or using our documents.
Our templates are drafted to reflect current UK legislation as at the date of publication. However:
DocPilot accepts no liability for loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of any template. See Section 8 (Limitation of Liability) for full details.
All purchases are made through Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions and is responsible for payment processing, VAT collection, and issuing receipts.
All prices displayed on docpilot.to are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. DocPilot reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price you are quoted at checkout is the price you will pay.
Your order is processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy. After payment you can download your files straight away from the order confirmation screen, and you will also receive a receipt email with a View Order button that opens your order and its download buttons. To get back to an existing order later, use the link in that receipt email, or sign in to Lemon Squeezy’s My Orders page (app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders) with the email address you used at checkout. You never need to buy a document again to regain access. If your receipt has not arrived within 15 minutes, check your spam folder, then email hello@docpilot.to with your order number and we will send your files.
Because our products are digital downloads that are made available immediately upon purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds once a document has been downloaded. This is consistent with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to digital content once the download has begun, provided you gave your express consent to immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel. This does not affect your rights if a document is faulty or not as described.
However, we will always act fairly. Our Swap or Refund Promise: we will swap your document or issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
To request a refund, please email hello@docpilot.to within 14 days of your purchase, including your order number. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 working days.
All DocPilot document templates, website content, logos, design elements, and branding are the intellectual property of DocPilot and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence described in Section 2.
DocPilot takes care to ensure that all templates reflect current UK law at the time of publication. Our full library was most recently reviewed in September 2026, and some documents have been rebuilt and reviewed again since; each product page shows that document’s own last review date. The reviews incorporate changes under the Renters' Rights Act 2025, the Employment Rights Act 2025, and other relevant legislation.
However, legislation changes regularly, and we cannot guarantee that a document will remain current at the time you use it. It is your responsibility to check that the legal requirements applicable to your situation have not changed since the document was last updated.
If you believe a document contains an error or is out of date, please let us know at hello@docpilot.to. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate promptly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocPilot's liability to you in connection with the purchase or use of any document template is limited to the price you paid for that document.
DocPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss arising from your use of our documents, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business, legal costs, fines, or penalties.
Nothing in these terms limits DocPilot's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The DocPilot Pro subscription is currently paused and is not available to buy. If it is offered again, these terms will be updated first. Single documents and bundles are unaffected.
These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
