Is this the Certificate of Sponsorship?
No. The CoS is assigned through the sponsor management system. This letter adds context to support the application.
What salary do I need to pay?
Generally at least £41,700 a year or the going rate for the occupation code, whichever is higher, with lower rates for new entrants. Check the current rules for the specific code.
What skill level must the job be?
Since 22 July 2025 most new roles must be at RQF level 6, unless the occupation is on the Temporary Shortage List. Check the role's skill level before you assign the CoS.
