Questions
Is an offer letter the same as a contract?
No. Once accepted it forms a contract, but you still need to give the written statement of employment particulars. Our Employment Contract Template covers that.
Can I withdraw a conditional offer?
If a stated condition is not met, such as a satisfactory reference or right to work check, the offer can usually be withdrawn. Take advice if the reason could be discriminatory.
Does it cover hybrid working?
