Does it include the written statement?
No. The Welsh Government model written statement is free on gov.wales. The pack guides you through issuing it and adds a checklist, additional terms and letters.
Can I use an English tenancy agreement in Wales?
No. Private tenancies in Wales since 1 December 2022 are occupation contracts under the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, and you must issue a written statement within 14 days.
What changed on 1 June 2026?
Two new fundamental terms: the contract-holder may allow children to live in or visit the home (s.54A), and may claim benefits (s.54B).
Is it in the Landlord Complete Bundle?
