Questions
Can I offer an unpaid internship?
Only in narrow cases, such as genuine work shadowing or a required course placement. If the intern works for you, the minimum wage almost certainly applies.

From April 2026: £12.71 an hour at 21 and over, £10.85 at 18 to 20, and £8.00 for 16 to 17-year-olds and apprentices. Check GOV.UK each April.
Who owns work the intern produces?
The company, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
Is it in the Employment Complete Bundle?
Yes. The Internship Agreement is one of the documents in the bundle.
